Hi Mike, just wondering if you were a fan of Greg Koch, if you followed him in Milw, or maybe you were out of the city before he really took off?

Anyway, was listening to an older cd of his, thought of you and your teaching.
Decided to google Greg and see what he has been up to. Wow to say the least.

Books, cd's, instructional dvd's,
GregKoch dot com for his older stuff, cheap.
Google him to find out his other info.
Amazon search for all his import stuff and instructional stuff.

Oh, I don't remember if this has been covered or not, but if you don't mind me asking, what band(s) were you in, back in the days? I still have my "Hometown Album Project" albums, any chance you are on one of them?

Take care.

Hey Mike, while Roscoe is asking, how about Phil Keaggy? You gotta love his music, right?

Greg Koch is awesome.....back in the day I wasnt into him as I was a metal head through and through but it was about 8 yrs ago that I really started teaching and expanded my styles. Now I think the guy is amazing and I wish I had a fraction of his talent. The bands I played in were not really know that well.....Sad thing is I was more interested in the party then in really working at a carreer. Shadowcaster, Cutthroat, Thyatira and Tangled grace were the ones I played out with the most.....Many opening gigs at T.A.Verns, The Shark tank, The Globe and the Eagles Club....... Opened for Bad Boy, Problem Child, Such as Life Mega Ton Blond and all the other hair bands.........Wasted alot of time and brain cells and have little to show for it......I have done so much more over the last 8 yrs and Im not even in a band anymore. :)

No, T A Verns.
First it was a restraunt, then in the early/mid 70's it was a disco.
Became a "western" bar complete with the bull riding machine for a few years.
Then became a rock club.
After sitting empty for a number of years, it became TA Verns as you knew it.

Well I heard it became a strip club after it was a rock club...........Bob the owner of TA Verns took his own life back when we were playing....Sad really. I know the Eagles club way back in the day was a Mens only Gentlemens club.......
