Well I decided to take the plunge! Picked up my first boat a couple days ago.

No motor, hull looks very pretty, interior is shot...no seats, transom needing replaced!

Thanks chuck! After following a few of you young men on here, I think I have no other option than yearn for that total rebuild!
And yea, my occupation went from construction super to stay @ home dad! What a change! So this should come along nicely... I hope

Yer lucky you don't have that pesky construction job to get in the way of your restoration efforts. Just don't move too quickly or you'll make the rest of us look bad.

Thanks guys! Yes removeable spotlight! It works too! I want to do a real thorough inspection before decking goes in. I already have my gluvit. Where to pay close attention? Transom out and new one cut with extra gr ply. Epoxy or ? For transom? Does the hull NEED to be stripped if painting? Thanks again

Did the kid come with it?

If so, that's going to get expensive



Yah, mos of the guys go with epoxy then paint to seal up transoms.

You do not have to strip all the paint off but many f the guys around here do.
