Mid South Get together.

Just thinking about trying to set up a get together for the Mid South area. I live in central Mississippi.

I know there are a lot of great lakes around here, plus the Mighty Mississippi River. And interest? Are there enough members in this area to even bother?

Nobody? Any members living in Memphis? How about Sardis Lake?

I have a close friend with a cabin/house on Eagle Lake just north of Vicksburg,Ms. I'm sure we could use it for a weekend if I asked far enough in advance.

Open to suggestions, just getting together for a day or 2, checking out each others boats, water-ski, wakeboard.

i've been looking into Granada Lake and the Hugh White State Park. I've never been but have read lots of good reviews. the middle of may will probably be the first chance i get to go up that way. my wife is going back to school (USM) in the fall and will have a couple weeks off between the spring and summer semesters.

Thats just south of Memphis isn't it? I've been on the lake before years ago with my Dad. Its a nice big lake.

I would love to hook up! Been to Sardis serveral times. prefer Kentucky Lake or Heber Springs. Here are a couple great shots from mylast Sardis trip.

From Ecru here between Oxford and Tupelo on hwy 278. What yall got in mind and when. We open for suggestions. Sardis is good, can get crowded though. Grenada is ok, but alot of structure in some places, not the best for towing or skiing. I prefer Bay Springs/Pickwick myself but thats just me. Let me know if yall try to get together.

Sorry for the long delay getting back to everyones suggestions.

A LOT has happened, started a new job that tales up a LOT of my time. And just recently I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Fighting this tooth and nail.

The good thing I guess is I have the time to fix up my boat. I'm looking for a relaunch date of late July - early August. Anyone still interested?
