I am a first time motor boat owner and am about to run my boat for the first time. Hopefully this week. :)

However, I have one thing that I need cleared up before taking it to the dock. As you see in the photo the Michigan MC numbers are already painted on the bow of the boat BUT the MC number on my title has a seven more digits in it.

Can anyone confirm if the numbers on my bow are correct as they are legally suppose to be OR do I need to add the other 7 digits??

I'd ask at the Secretary Of State office but figured that my wait in line here at iBoats will be far less frustrating and drive much shorter. lol

I want to add that the Sec of State website shows "MC" followed by the digits and concluding with two characters, just like the format of the numbers on my bow. However, I wanted to double check here first.

No. The orange sticker has the seven other digits on it.

OK - The 7 are probably the title number or some other mythical number the SoS uses.

The MC numbers on the bow are correct.
