I have a 2005 MFS30A. I did not use boat for a long time. This spring it started very hard and ran poorly. I drained and cleaned all fuel lines, took carbs apart and sprayed them out. New fuel.
Checked fuel pump, pumping. Checked compression and it was adequate. New spark plugs.
It starts poorly and runs rough at idle, often dies when throttle is applied. If you make it past idle it throttles up and gets the boat on step. Not sure where to go from here.

Time to disassemble the carbs and clean them properly.

What more needs to be done to clean them properly? I disassembled them and cleaned them with carb/choke cleaner. I can take them apart again, they look pretty clean.
follow up question, when looking at the parts list for these carbs, there is a
MAIN JET #100
3R3032750
and also a
MAIN JET #82
3S9032510
same thing with the slow jet there is a #45 and a #52

Submerge them in an ultrasound overnight while disassembled, THEN spray out. Sea level calls for the 100 and 52. The others are for extreme altitude.
