Hello all,<br /><br /><br /> New guy, first post <br /><br />I've been boating for 30 sumpin years. Sailed all over the USVI and BVI as a young punk. <br /> Living on a fresh water Lake now and found "the right" boat <br /><br />I'm buying a 1998 22' Cobalt bowrider with a beautiful trailer. Very low use I need to get it TO; Austin, Texas. FROM; Fort Meyers beach Florida. I may just pay a guy to tow it here. What do yall think ?

As long as you do some checking on there record and they have insurance <br /><br />A lot of people use boat movers just google "boat transport" and you will get plenty of hits <br /><br /><br />tommays

Ebay is not a bad place to look for transport either. I've seen quite a few private haulers advertising their services for around $0.75 per mile. You can read their feedback too and make sure that they do a good job. I contacted a guy who can be found by searching for the auction ID 4634831404. He was quick to respond and explained his route.
