my boat was stored for 6 months, gas turned
to tar and floats were sticking.
With manual and a weekend, I removed and
cleaned the carburators...
My question is do I need to synchronize
the carbs ? I didn't replace any parts
so my thinking is everything should be
the same? Give me an idea on what to do
next... resynchronize or NOT ??

thanks for the reply, the dealer says if
the carbs are too lean can burn a hole
in the piston! Since I didn't mess with
the jets; things should be OK...

hi well i take it you have three dual float bowl carbs, now with the cover off of the front of the carbs the attenuator as they call it , move the throttle to full (not running and out of the water)the butterfly valves should be open all the way on all three carbs...but not using the linkage stop on the side of the carbs but the adjustment screw on the linkage on the side of the block is your full throttle adjustment and stop. Now if you do need to adjust or synchronize them there is a philips head screw on the side of each carb that has some adjustment on the linkage that ties the three together. If I was you you should check this even if you didn't move anything, and hey if you need any more help e-mail me- ken.thrussell@sympatico.ca

Dont mix jets from carb to carb, some of these engines had different size main jets. Like all of the carbs did not have same size jet.
