Hi everyone

Just bought a 93 xr-6 and was wondering were the hose from the pulse valve is supposed to go or if i even need a hose on it. Shows one in the manual but it doesn't show were it ends, but it looks like it goes to the boat somewere (gas tank?) just curious because its leaking a little fuel out of it when the motors running.(is that bad)
Thanks
Jeremy

Perhaps a picture. Don't have any idea what a pulse valve on an XR6 would be.

That comes up as check valve on any parts list. It feeds crankcase pressure limited to about 2 psi to the remote (boat) oil tank to drive oil from it to the engine mounted oil reservoir. The oil line from that tank (with the blue stripe on it) then goes to the t fitting just under the engine oil reservoir starboard side. (letter b)

I suspect you didn't get the remote oil tank with the engine.

no auxillary oil tank with motor. I removed the oil injection system on the motor because i just feel safer that way, used to pre-mixing anyways.I followed your instructions from other threads(very helpful, thanks) So with with the oil injection system removed can i just cap off the valve or would that raise my crankcase pressure?
Thanks

Remove it and put a pipe plug in it's place. It'll have very little, if any effect on crankcase pressure.
