Mercury wiring

I just picked up a new to me Kiekhaefer Mercury800 80hp motor for my pontoon. It came with a wiring harness that was cut(black,red,brown,white,orange,gray,yellow). I have existing mercury controls that were on my early 70s merc 40hp(black/yellow,yellow/black,yellow/red,gray,red,black tan/blue). I’m trying to wire my old 8 pin female to the 800 harness but I can’t seem to find a decent diagram showing how. Any help?
