Mercury Water Tube Leads Where?

Anybody have a water flow diagram for a 2002 Mercury 115 four stroke? I have the Mercury<br />Manual and it’s not there. <br /><br />Specifically, I am trying to trace a small tube that tees off the telltale and disappears somewhere between the power head and the lower unit. It’s not the speedo tube and I can’t blow air through it. The water feed tube to the telltale from the head is discharging water fine but am concerned this other tube needs to be clear as well. (My water pump ate some sand and I want to make sure this tube didn’t get plugged)

The water hose your talking about is going to the drive shaft bushing. That bushing needs water for lubrication. Service manual part #881980R2
