hey can anybody help me new at this am restoreing dads fishing boat and needed to put in a new ignition switch i have a 1975 50 hp mercury engine with a mercury shifter has the seperate button for electric choke don't know the year on this one one of dads fishing buddys helped him with that one it needs a new switch bought a aftermarket one that i plan to mount in the dash don't know the wireing for this got 8 wires comeing from the harness yello red white/tan ?? grey brown black and it looks pink but been told may be orange that has faded but i cut back the wire 10 inches and exposed good wire still looks pink to me the new switch is a pollak push to choke switch with these fittings A ccesory B attery C hoke M agneto Start "soleniod " and another M agnito 6 poles total also it states it isfor manual operation only and not for use in conjuction with emergancy shut off devices which are attached to the control box or swithc housing to mechananically rotate the switch off but i have a after market kill switch that i would like to hook up too that has 4 ploes that has 2 m poles and 2 c poles does this need to be hooked seperate or can it be hooked in conjunction with the other switch ???? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPREICATED
