We are trying to decide between a sport jet and a v8. We will boat mostly in the Willamette River, deep and slow with not infrequent gravel and sand bars. We pull onto sand bars often to rock hunt. We want to be able to have 3 or 4 adults, same number of kids and camping gear and still pull a skier if we want. Most of all, we got burned on a boat we hated 2 years ago and now want to find something that will keep us happy for years. Any advice?
