Mercury silent 6 5.9 lower unit removal

Hey guys,
Onto my next project and I'm already stuck. Got a mid 50's silent six comet motor that I want to get running safely. Cannot get the lower unit off, anyone have manual or able to help?

I am having the same issue. trying to find help with a solution on here also
