Quick one guys, does anybody know the difference (if any) between the 2 propellers carrying the below Part numbers:
48 77342A40 15P
48 77342A45 15P

Understand they are both 13.75 dia, 15 Pitch, but I’m curious as to why A40 is superseded by the A45.

I dinged up the A45 on my boat and looking at replacing it with one that looks the same but has the A40 part number.

I had the A45 on my 90hp cyl Force the A40 was on a Tower of Power 115.

Im looking at buying the A40 second hand online, thus don't have them side by side

I'm not 100% on this, but I think the A40 were the rubber hub and the A45 are the (current) Flow-torque II hubs.

As far as performance goes, they are identical. Completely interchangeable. Just be aware of the hub difference.

and more.

They look very similar, I did notice on one the hub is located into the prop using vulcanized rubber where I think the other is cast into the prop? Anyway, I've bolted the A40 on, yet to try it
