Mercury owners manual

I've just purchased a used 5hp four stroke Mercury and was wondering if anyone knew where I might find a owners maual for this motor. I'm not looking for the repair manual just the booklet that originally came with the motor. Thanks for any and all help!

That would be your Mercury Dealer.

You would think. If you aren't buying a motor from them, or saved money buying elsewhere as I did, and don't need parts, SOL! I'm more than willing to buy one, just wold like to have one. Maybe Mon. get ahold of Merc themselves?

I must have missed something here. On one hand it appears you found one but then again it appears you will visit Merc. If Mercury Parts Express is back on-line you can order the manual without leaving your house. You will not get one free from the dealer (normally) but they will certainly order one for you. Why the SOL response? I guess my response would be you can't get a Chevy owners manual from a Ford dealer, Sears, or Target. You might get one on E-bay but only because someone no longer needs theirs and decided to sell it or perhaps a dealer had a bunch he's trying to unload.
