I've noticed that Mercury outboards, especially the 150 h.p. and above seem to sell for a lot less than Evinude, Yamaha, etc. on the used boat motor market.<br /><br />I'm interested in purchasing a good used outboard motor and I am curious as to whether anyone has any knowlege of the Mercury 200 h.p. EFI outboard motors with the 25" shaft? Is this a good motor or one to stay away from? <br /><br />My boat is an older 20' Wellcraft (Super Deep-V) and I run it exclusively in salt water. I currently have an Evinrude 88 SPL that seems to do really well, but I want more power.
