mercury oil warning module - depotting

I was wondering if anyone had tried depotting one of the mercury oil warning modules. Mine fried... just goes beep all the time. The module has a small crack in the backside with a little ooze coming out of it. I'm guessing that its just a burnt-out out-put transistor (fet/relay/whatever) and if I can get the potting of that should be easy enough to replace.

Or beter yet does anyone have schematics for one of these.

No schematic. Don't even know if it is optically activated solid state device via a prism (like a green dot in a delco or sears battery) or a mercury switch. Sorry.
