I just bought a 2015 Mercury 250 pro xs. It runs good but I am giving it a going over before putting it on my boat. Checking the oil lines I saw the fitting in the picture ( part number 14) did not have a line hooked to the bottom of it. The diagram doesnt show anything going to it but I wanted to double check with someone who knows more about it. If nothing goes to it what is its purpose? Also there is no primer bulb on the oil line berween the engine and the resevoir. Do it self prime fine are should I install one?
