The issue is that moving the boat into forward and accelerating, it takes an inordinate amount of lever travel to make anything happen. If you start at 12o-clock in neutral, it is at 10-oclock before it starts to do anything and pretty much is against the stop before it really gets full throttle at the engine. I have adjusted it in testing far enough we start to raise the idle speed at the engine end. Is there an adjustment at the throttle end or a spacer or something to give it more authority? Seems like we might have a mismatched throttle control box if that is possible. Boat seems to be running well despite that so we have made some progress.
