Mercury inboard jet swap

i have a 1995 mercury force 120 HP Jet drive oil injected motor that came with my hydroform jet boat looks to have 151 hours on the gauge but the fella sead when he sold to me he thinks its locked lol and id like to swap it out with a 150-200 HP i have no idea what i can do , what do i search for some boat place here in canada sead im hooped cant just put any motor in there...... any advice would be great.

If i underatand you right, you want to swap outboard motors.

You can install any outboard you like, you just need the controls for it and the correct shaft length. Then your in business.

This is provided the boat is an outboard type.
If not then id fix or replace the motor that came with it.

Sorry but no can do... the pinion shafts are different splines, as are the manifold plates, pump housing and impeller. Just yank out what you have and rebuild if needed but... it could also be the pump thats locked up not the motor.:(
