Hi, bit of a strange problem,
I have a Mercury EFI 2008 Fourstroke 100hp,
Battery fully charged, turns engine and starts with no problem, leaving battery connected over night until next morning and engine barely turns over as if battery is flat but the battery is fine, disconnect battery for a few minnutes and reconnect and starts fine, its somehow resets itself or seems like that, any suggestions appreciated.

We have twin 2002 115hp EFI, and have never had a battery BS problem ever.
We have two battery's we keep on battery maintainers 24/7, 365 days.
And we have a battery shut off switch for #1 and #2 and both.
Something might be draining your battery overnight.
Always use a nylon locking nuts never wing nuts on battery's so they make good contact, they need to be shiny clean no corrosion.

Ifon a trailer when it starts do you see excess fuel/rainbow exit prop? The reason I ask is you could have a injector/s leaking down and causing a hydrolock or fuel pump diaphragm filling cylinders. This will cause slow crank till it can exit cylinders via cranking then after relieved it will crank fine.
