Mercury crankshafts

I'm looking for a used Mercury v-6 crankshaft,Mercury part number 455-8745A 5. I'm also looking for information on com****** that rebuild cranks, I have one that ate a rod bearing that needs repaired. I understand that automotive machine shops don't get the hardness on the journals to hold up to marine needle bearings. There must be several com****** that specialize in rebuilding outboard crankshafts

Call Jack at Superior Marine for both used and rebuilt. Stay away from all automotive shops. There are only a handful of marine shops and only a couple of them that do it right. Call Jack at 800-338-9281 and tell him I said hello. Good luck!
