Mercury Cover Removal

I just bought a 115hp Mercury outboard and I don't have the owners manual.

I need to take the cover off. The 2 sides flip open easy enough - but how do you completely take the cover off?

From your description I'm assuming it's a clamshell cover. The hinges are pin and socket. Just lift them off.
