Hello! I’m in the process of cleaning a set of 3 mercury wh-3 carbs from a V6. The top carb (#1) has both jets that are inside the triangular cavity that connects to the air box and choke plate. Both the middle carb and bottom carb are missing the starboard bank jet in that spot. The ones that are present are .084. Maybe a stupid question...but am I safe to assume those are supposed to be there and I should pick up two .084 jets to fix it? Someone neglected to replace them on the last rebuild? Can someone explain what those jets do? Balance or equalize the left and right sections perhaps?
