I just got this boat yesterday and everything was fine. I used to have a yamaha 150 on a different boat and I had to let it warm up or it wouldn't run right. this is a bass boat with a hot foot. the boat ran great, but idled rough. after about 20 min. of running fine it lost power and would just do a little over idle. I brought it home and after a few hours hooked the water up and let it run at idle, it seemed pretty smooth with an occasional little backfire. I put it in gear and it did fine at high rpms. has anyone else had this problem and could it be because i did not let it warm up when i was on the water. how do you warm up a bass boat with a hotfoot, do you barely hold your foot on the pedal? Oh yeah when i was on the river letting it idle back i put it in nuetral and it would rev up, but back in gear it would just barely move. I am supposed to go fishing tomorrow but i am cancelling because of this problem. if anyone knows anything i can do before then or if you have had this problem please let me know.
