How can I lock 9.9 prop kicker to transom, I see no way of doing it any ideas on what to do???

there is an outboard motor lock that is sold, just google outboard motor locks, or you can tighten your outboard to the point that both the leavers are able to go toward one another and put a paddlock on there. Best thing to do to slow someone down is to lock the levers, and to bolt the outboard to the transom from the inside, and use flush mount screws on the outside.

Just go to Iboats.com, Click on Boat Parts & Accessories on top of the page, and then type in Outboard Motor Locks in the search box. I put 2 different locks on my Mercury 8hp trolling motor, and still don't want to park it someplace I can't see. I feel your pain. We do the best we can, and hope the thief will give up and go someplace else. Good luck.

Fishaholic,,, This 9.9 doesn't have the Levers coming out. I have seen those locks but need those wings to make it work! I do not know why they ever made it with just the bolts to screw it down. But I do think I will take Honkers advice and bolt it to Transom t5he wat he described. Thanks for the imfo,Downrigger39
