I have a new Mercury 9.9 FourStroke. Run it yesterday for the first time.
1) I have seen the oil pressure light blinking during the start procedure.
It went off when the engine started. Is that correct?
2) After running idle the engine for a while I switched it off. I restarted following the
procedure for a warm restart, but when shifted into gear the engine went off.
It was very hard to restart it. Any suggestion? Thank you

The bliinking oil light at start-up is normal. Usual cause of a hard start on a warm engine is over-fuelling- make sure to start the outboard with the throttle closed. If the problem persists, take back to the dealer- that's what the warranty is for.
