OK, this is a dumb question, I have the mersury 9.9HP Bog Foot, how can I tell if it has electric start, got it from someone else, it does have a red button on the throttle control handle, can this be electric start? Thanks
that buttton is a kill switch.<br /><br />take the hood off, and if you see a large DC motor, with a gear on the end, mounted next to the flywheel, you have electric start
