MERCURY 80

I just bought a mercury 800 (80hp) ser 3057063, don't know the year. I'm looking for anysite for parts,wireing digrams engine and lower halv breakdown ect...I paid 100 bucks for it. it was stored in a barn the past 5 yrs. and the motor was frozen (pistons soaking it penlub now) the lower case that the wraparound cover goes in is broken and half is missing. due to the last owner backing trailor into tree. any help would be much thankfull<br /> Tony in Tallahassee Fl

Hi Tony,<br />Your motor is a 1971. For parts there are a lot of salvage yards in Florida to find parts. I don't have a site URl cause I don't like the salt corosion,but I get mailings from them at work once in a while, so they are down there.<br />...have fun...corm
