I have this 6Cyl thunderbolt II with 3 carbs and distributor, s/n4848057. It has the max spark, iddle adjustment, but no throttle stop screw.<br />The plastic linkage between the carbs has slots at the mounting. I reset these to obtain some clearance. Should I add a screw to obtain some fixed clearance so the throttles are not shut to start?<br />The engine runs at 500 rpm with the flush hose, and the timing marks are about 1/2 to the right of the fixed pointer.<br />Am I any close to reality ?<br />Please advise; I got this engine on a 15' bass boat,and this aI hope is the last of the project.<br />
