Mercury 50hp thunderbolt.

My pull start is broken and I dont know how to fix it.Does anyone have a diagram of the pull start system. Iwould realy apreciate it if someone could mail me one as I cant get a manual for 3 weeks. Please help me as I cant wait to use my boat. <br />Regards Ray.<br />raemond@indigo.ie

raemond<br />In the mean time, take the shroud off,what year is it?, all 3 pieces?, place the pull rope in the notch on the flywheel and pull--with the engine in neutral and the key on, manual choke as necessary. Have you thought about going to the Mercury Marine website with your engine serial number and looking in the electronic parts catalog and ordering what ever you want, to be shipped by a dealer close to you?<br />That is if the parts aren't NLA, no longer available from Merc.<br />Backfire
