mercury 500 thunderbolt

I own a mercury out board 50 hp,could any body tell me what year it is ? It's a 500 thunderbolt 4 cyl, vin # 3822004.Mr Ken.

Mr Ken<br />Old 50 4 cyl were great motors. My dad ran the older version back in the 50's. It was a 1958 Mark 58! This motor just recently went out of production.
