mercury 45hp wot???

i have a 1989 mercury 45hp 4 cylinder. and i dont have any info on this motor at all...i need to know whats the wot rpms? and whats the idle speed sopose to be???. and, if anyone could tell me where i might be able to find this info on the web, that would be great too. thanks, clayton

WOT 5,000 - 5,500 RPM
Idle 550-600 in the water (not muffs) and in fwd gear

Its a 1989 classic fifty 45hp 4 cylinder.......are these reliable outboards?? Mine runs good, gotta raise the lever when its in idle, then gotta kinda be quick about putting it in gear, because it wants to shut off when its in idle with the lewver down. Not the shifting lever, the lever used to increase rpms when its in nutral. Other than that it starts up ever time.
