My father has 1994 Mercury 40hp 2 stroke outboard. He had it rebuilt last year, but has had trouble with it stalling when throttling up. I researched the forums on iboats.com and found plenty of things to check, from fuel starvation to electrical problems. Is there anything else that we could check that would cause this?
