Hey all I'm new to boating. I just bought a bass boat with a mercury 40 out board 2 stroke. When I start the motor the peestream is not a stream but a splater it runs good for awhile then dies. It is hard to start for a bit but then runs for awhile and dies again. the water that comes out is on the warmer side but not burning hot. the stream should be a solid stream correct? I was told by a friend to check the empeller any hepl would be welcome thanks Bri
