I can't get the lower unit off of my 1987 Mercury 35HP...

I think the water pump is bad... it's not squirting any water. I've used an air hose and determined that the line isn't blocked.

I took it to a boat shop and they charged me 95 bucks for 1 hour of labor and to say they couldn't get it off either!

ANY HELP!>!>>!?!?!?!
EDIT: The motor is a 1987!

Same applies here, you need a serial # or at least a year for input.....;)
You cannot get a significant bump in HP out of the 3.0 by tweaking it.....;)

My stepdad's boat... it's like an 87 or 88 peterborough with a 35hp merc... guy we bought it from said it was a 94 - I'll get the number though.

I'll have it posted up tonight!
