I have a Mercury 75hp 2 stroke 3 cil outboard. I aquired it after a prop strike. It came with no paperwork and I do not know the year, though it is a newer year (90's). It will start but does not run. After checking almost everything I can think of I beleive the timing is off. No. 1 Cil. is at "4" on the timing mark on the flywheel. Is this correct and if not, does anyone know the proper setting and how to adjust it. Thanks for any help in advance.
