Mercury 25hp - Lack of Power

I have a 1993 25hp Mercury that has lost the ability to get up on the plane with two adults on board. When it was new it would do this with three adults.<br /><br />The motor is running fine, compressions are good, starts easily,<br /><br />Any ideas?

Hi Dave,<br />Sometimes the exhaust plate gasket or powerhead support gasket can cause this if they are loose or burnt. Have you changed plugs or props lately?<br /><br />corm<br /><br />------------------<br />cubic inches = power<br />power = speed<br />speed = FUN
