If the new one costs around 4500€, what is a good price for a used one from 2014 supposedly with 300hrs. I know it depends on the market, but would like to have a guideline. I didn't find any old local ad. I'm thinking maybe 3000?
I'll try to find a mechanic to come with me and evaluate, but they are pretty scarce here, as they are busy with the less financially challenged people with big boats.
I do have a basic understanding of motors and even repaired a 6hp Suzuki with multiple errors once, but that seems a lot simpler
So I should look at the oil in the gearbox, for traces of emulsion. Check the oil in motor, check the spark plugs, what else. See if there is excessive white smoke. The seller claims the motor was serviced in May, I'll ask what did they do.
Out of all usual things that I may not see which might be the most expensive to repair? Provided the motor starts, sounds and smells good
