Hey guys wondering if someone can help me with a mercury 25hp 4 stroke controls. I am leaning towards buying this engine new but apparently mercury doesn't offer controls for this engine because the throttle and gears are integrated into the tiller handle. does anyone know if there are any ways of hooking controls to this engine or if there are aftermarket controls ? (im told mercury does make an engine this size that can take controls but it's a certain model and and alot more expensive, but i can get a really good deal on this tiller handle one) I know my steering should be a breeze to switch but i need my throttle and gear selector if theres no way of doing it, this engine wont be much goood for my boat.Thanks for any help
