mercury 200 efi vs 200 optimax

I'm trying to decide which of these two stroke engines to get, and would like some feedback from owners who may have these engines. Are the efi engines noisy and smokey?

These are totally different engines. The 200 EFI is a 2.5 Liter and the 200 Opti is a 3.0 Liter. I just traded my 225 optis for 4 Stokes because of reliablity fears. I am told by my dealer that EFIs are reliable. They will burn more fuel, but shouldn't smoke much more.
