The 1st problem Low Power. 90% of the time it sounds like it is bogging when powering up. The other 10% of the time which is normally late in the day it has that perfect sound and great power. The next problem is 5 to 10 minutes after start-up while heading up river a little over idle it surges (revs up then almost dies) several times. It does normally die but will restart with no problem. That stops after a few times dying and I can be on my way. Last problem: When powering up or sometimes while on plane engine flat out dies, then will restart like nothing happened. Any help would be great.

Being an EFI motor there are numerous perameters that can effect that condition. Sensors, switches, control module, and the like. Perhaps with proper diagnostic procedure (as would be outlined in a manual) you could visualise the area to concentarte on. Without a good flow chart or extreme knowlege you are kind of shooting in the dark.

It does sound like a lean condition could cause soomething like that and would be something you coud look over before sending it in. Like the fuel line, filter, tank fittings, pick up tube, and foot valve if so equipped. See if a pump on the fuel line bulb helps. That would also indicate fuel starvation and have you looking for the above items and others like the fuel pump.
