What would cause one cylinder to have no spark until the engine runs for a few minutes? when I start my Mercury 18XD it runs on one cylinder for a little while then all of a sudden it will get spark to the bottom cylinder and take off.
So far I replaced the coils which didn't correct the problem and changed the power to the coils and the problem moved to the top cylinder. I am thinking there might be a short or the switchbox might be bad.
