mercury 175 jet boat

I have a 97 mercury 175 connected to a jet pump. The manual gives a checklist for winterization but says nothing about dealing with the sea water used to cool the motor. Does it completely drain out / without the need to winterize? I know there is no lower leg to worry about, but what about the motor itself?

Yep, SJ's are self draining-if there's no water in gear box or stator on impellor shaft then there is no water that may cause freeze damage.
