Mercury 15m 4s and battery charging

Does anyone know what parts, if any, are required to charge a 12 volt battery from the subject motor. From the sales brouchure I thought it would be a just a plug in. The owners manuel does not cover the subject. Want it to top off a battery for an electric motor and for depth sounder.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is brand spankin' new. 08 I guess. Don't seem like they are assigning model years anymore.
