Idles great but backfires through carborator when engaged. I think it's the timing, not sure. Need to know what timing settings are and point settings should be. Any suggestions?
Depends on year and type distributor you have for both dwell and timing.<br />If your distributor was ever replaced within the last 10 years, it probably now has a Prestolite distributor instead of the original Delco. But without knowing, it's impossible to say.
