I have a mercury 130 hp that doesn't seem to be getting any electricity from the battery. Checked the 10 A fuse and it's OK. Checked the fuses in the boat and they are OK. Tried two different batteries and tried to jump with no effect. Checked the boat ignition switch and checked out OK. Thought that it was the kill switch and replaced that but no effect. Checked continuity from battery to starter and checked OK. Trim will not work, don't know if it is the boat electrical system (load) or the motor. Any troubleshooting tips?http://forums.iboats.com/images/smilies/grumpy.png

Are you sure about the horsepower? Do you have the s/n of the engine?

Howdy, Tom. :welcome:

Take the battery cables off and scrub the connectors shiny, both ends. A continuity check cannot detect the small resistance that can cause your trouble.
