I have a mercury 125 it is a 4 cylinder, but when it is idleing it kicks off 2 cylinders somehow. It has a bad hesitation when taking off. Is there a way to keep all 4 cylinders running all the time?

THIS IS THE WAY THIS ENGINE IDLES. IT IDLES ON THE TOP TWO CYLINDERS THE ENGINE WILL NOT IDLE ON ALL FOUR CYLINDERS BECAUSE OF THE HARMONICS. HAVE THE SYNC AND LINK CHECKED AT A MERC DEALER FOR PROPER OPERATION

Mercman is right. when the idle mix and carb setup an idle timing is done correctly acceleration will feel like a four barrel carb kickin in...no hesitation. The 2+2 system works good...dont try screwing up a good thing.
