Simple question, I want to make sure the water pump is working correctly and the peehole is not clogged since the boat has been stored for 2 years. Where is the peehole at and what should I look for to make sure the motor is being cooled properly?
As you stand behind the boat looking at the motor the pee hole is on the right hand side just below the cowlin cover on the bottom. If you remove the cowlin you will see a hose that comes up on the left hand side and there will be a "T" 1 hose will continue to the "T- stats (1 for each powerhead there 2 bolts that hold the T-stat on) on the upper part of the power heads. now back at the "T" the other hose should go to that P hole on the lower right hand side. If yours looks like this water should come out the P hole a few seconds after startup on muffes or in the water the water should be very luke warm but not scalding.
