While out in the boat this weekend I had a problem. My motor would hiccup (near quit) for just a second, then run good for a couple fo minutes, then do it again. This only happened at wot. I don't have a tachometer on the boat at this time. I was wondering if maybe I am possible over reving, or some other problem. Has anyone come across this problem before? I do plan on getting a tach.Maybe I need to go up on the pitch of the prop? It's a skeeter 16 1/2',110h.p. Mercury, 17pitch prop. Seem to be grasping at straws here. Thanks in advance!

Yeah I would say you are underpitched.......With a boat that light, you should be able to run a 21, but I would go test a 19 and see if your WOT rpm's are at spec.

Thanks bushcat, I'll get a tach and try a different pitch.
